The Slovenian peasant revolt of 1515 (German: Windischer Bauernkrieg) was a peasant revolt which engulfed most of what is now Slovenia. The rebels captured most of the castles within the region. The revolt was put down by the army of the Holy Roman Empire, with the deciding battle fought at Celje.
